decoration on the cover and spine. It has an inscription on the inside from someone who served in Rendova with this Sea Bee unit during WWII. Tight binding, sharp corners. a touch of wear to the top and bottom of spine, clean inside except for one underlining (that I can find) on one page and a couple of small notations on a few pages of interest to the previous owner. 250 pages and 70+ pages of black and white photographs and illustrations. There are endpaper maps in the
front and back showing where Seabee battalions were located. There are three appendices: awards to individuals, casualties, missing in action, and Seabee poetry. An amazing book about very brave men in near mint condition. I have quite a few antique war related book. |
