Not sure what this is, although roughly resembles a baptismal font.  Its 31" high, 20.5" across, and is at least 60 years old.

I am not sure if you posted the correct photo or not but based on the image this is a small table. It has the raised center so there is a very remote possibility that it is a plinth of some sort.

Thanks for your reply.  It is the correct photo.  The raised centre has hinges and lifts up like a trap door.

It does not have the appearance of a baptismal font but it does look like a dry sink or even a potty.

If you can show a photo of the inside that would be helpful.
