Does anyone know about this kind of painting....it is beautiful. I know nothing about it but it came out of mu grandmothers basement way back in a storm cellar .thank you

It is most likely a family member portrait painted by a local artist, a self portrait or an untrained artist piece (painted by mom, dad, sibling or neighbor). It is not of anyone that I recognize meaning a famous painting of someone important.

The lack of an artist signature makes it difficult to track who might have painted it.

You might try looking through some family photos to see if you can find the person in the painting.
