Hello all, my name is Diana. I'm a stay at home mother of three, two girls and a boy. I'm from good ole Mississippi,  Undecided and I am (as my family so lovingly calls me) an Antique and Flea Market Nut. I'm not very knowledgeable about antiques as far as how to date them, or how much things are worth and why. All I know is that when something I like catches my eye, my husbands wallet starts screaming in agony...LOL! No, in all seriousness, the only thing I truly know about something when I purchase it, is that I liked it, and to me that's whats important. Nine times out of ten what I purchase is an old wooden piece of furniture, a fairy of some form or fashion,an old kitchen utensil, pot, or decanter, but if I'm real lucky I find that one unusual odd ball COW that I absolutely can not go home without. If I'd have to name my most favorite collectible it would have to be my Moo COWS! Every size, shape, and form  of a cow is in my kitchen. My children dread my little out of town flea market jaunts because they know one way or another there will be another cow added to the collection.
I ran across your blog by accident actually. We have a Granny's Attic here as well, and that was what I was searching for. I love the on line antique shop idea. Especially with you being so far away. I mean, you can only see the same type of stuff so many times. Where as, you go somewhere new, and there is no telling the treasures you'll unearth.
Michelle, I can't wait to see what all you have in your store. I'm sure I will find something I can't live without, so your sure to hear from me again. Also, I have an old piece that belonged to my mother, I may need your help with.

Hi Diana and welcome to my forum. I hope you stop in often and soon.... I keep saying that, I will have the new antique shop up and running online and can empty out these 200+ boxes of goodies I have purchased or moved home when I closed my antique store over a year ago. The end of next month we are going to a family reunion in Louisiana and will take a few days to shop while I am there as well as on the trip to and from.

Be sure and feel free to post any questions you have or offer advice on questions that pop up on here.

See ya again, Michelle
