This wonderful old cabinet is for mounting on a wall it has a towel rack underneath and a mirrored door which opens with a glass knob. Inside there are 3 shelves. This was from the late 50's and hung in a gas station untill my fathers retirement. I have tried to research this with no luck....the plaque an it say..(Merchants Towel & Linen Supply Limited, serviced Cleanliness, Trinity 4843) the later being a phone number acording to my father:) I will try to get a pic soon . any info would be helpful. thank-you from a new member!

Thank you so much for joining our forum!

As for the history of this piece or who made it could be the Merchants Towel and Linen Supply but chances are it is a medicine cabinet that someone had laying around and used it. Generally gas stations have only a mirror and not an entire medicine cabinet.

Medicine cabinets of this style have been made since the early 1900s in all shapes and sizes.

I have sold a few for $75 and up depending upon condition, including how clear the mirror is.

I love these old medicine cabinets and even have them in my own bathrooms.

Once again welcome and I hope you stay around.
