I have a set of china and have had a lot of trouble trying to identify it. Please help. It is in a green stamp on the back. It appears to have a crown and below it possibly a couple of fish hooks swirls on the left side it says 86, stamped sideways and below the design it says Bavaria Western Germany. The plate, etc are white with a scalloped edge of silver or platinum. I have tried to identify what pattern it is without any luck. From what I have read, it appears that it may be rare.  Any help?

Photos are very helpful. Especially a good photo of the mark as the mark will tell us who made the porcelain. Bavaria is a town in Germany which has been very prolific in the production of porcelain for hundreds of years. For it to say "Western Germany" is an indication that it is not an old piece, some where around the 1940's or later.

What website are you reading to indicate that it might be rare? I am always looking for new information.
