hello to everybody...i am just beginning my new adventures in collecting....i recently wound up in a house that will be 100 yrs old next year...one family continuously on this land for over 100 yrs and they never threw away anything!
i am sure i will have many questions and am excited to find this forum.
i look forward to meeting everyone and sharing the love of holding something in our hands that was used, maybe even treasured or loved my someone so long ago!

First of all welcome,
That is awesome Im excited for you.its the idea of who might have used this piece, when they used it,what year what it actually made etc.. and how long ago.Conrats on your new (to you) home I hope you find lots of treasures there and have make many new memories.

Happy hunting in your new old house. I have always said how neat it would be to move into a place that was full like that. I am excited for you, and maybe it will happen to me some day now that I hear it happens. Happy learning!
