Hi, My name is Amanda.  My dad has asked me to find out how much his habitant furniture might be worth. Any Ideas?

What pieces do you have?

What is the condition of the pieces?

Do they have the original fabric or have they been reupholstered?

Do you have a photo?

There is a lot of information on Habitant Furniture; It began when a group got together and built a lodge  the Presque Isle Lodge on beautiful Grand Lake, twenty miles deep in the woods north of Alpena, Michigan back in the 1920's.

The response from guests over the furniture was so great that they began production of Habitant Furniture. It has a very rustic lodge look and I believe that production continued through the late 1950's to early 1960's.

A complete living room set can sell for $2,000. This is a sofa, 2 chairs, coffee table and at least one end table.
