I have read the information on the Thomas Germany and F. Thomas Bavaria Porcelain Marks.

My question is: What additional information is provided by "Germany 24 V 87" or "V Germany 20" in orange below the Thomas Bavaria marks?  See attached photo.

Thank you.

Tom

P.S.  The pattern is what Replacements Ltd identifies as THO414.

Germany is simply the country of origin and to the best of my knowledge the numbers are internal manufacturer identification numbers. Such as shape, size, color, etc.

Bavaria is a state in Germany and at one point this manufacturer had manufactories in several areas in Germany, therefore Bavaria just tells us it came out of the Bavarian plant.

Thank you for your information.  I had hoped that the numbers might have provided some additional information about when the plates were made.
