Buyers

Hello all! Just wondering...are there any antique stores in Kansas or the surrounding area that are hiring "buyers" or "pickers"? I have my own small booth in my town, but would like to be a buyer for others. Thanks for the info!!

As for your question do shop "hire" picker's, generally not. A picker finds wonderful items at low costs that they can then turn around and sell to a dealer at "wholesale" prices. Your selling price to the shop needs to be low enough to where the shop can still make a little profit.

That is why keeping a "wanted items" book is essential for our shop and our customer's. We pride ourselves on helping people find the items they are looking for.
