Michele Chinaware/porcelain dishes

Hello,

My 94 yr old grandmother gave made alot of dishes/serveware marked Michele Japan.  They were an engagement present.  I would like to know if anyone knows the history of these dishes.  She is from Itally.  My grandmother is in a nursing home and her belongings were handed out to her grandchildren.  She cannot remember anything.

Are there any other markings ? can you post a picture front and back of dishes/serveware ? does it say made in etc.... or just the name of the country minus the made in part ? other than Michele Japan ?
