We picked up a pair of these odd lamps at an estate sale.  There are no marks to indicate where or who made them.
Any help you can offer will be very much appreciated.  We hope to learn about the maker and the possible value.

I image that originally, the lampshades had mica filters.  Is it worth restoring the mica shades?

Many, many thanks!

John

They definitely have the Arts & Crafts look, which would date them in the 20's -40's time frame. Try looking for a maker's mark on the upper part of the lamp, during that era some maker's put their marks on the shade area. Traditionally refurbishing detracts from the price of an antique. Your decision would be predicated on whether you bought them for investment or personal use.
