Can you identify/date this hinge?  It is cast brass, weight approx 12 lbs, 25 inches in length and most of the holes are countersunk.  It may have been on a wooden ship.

I think that it went on a large wood gate or door.

If it were on a boat it would show corrosion and rusting.
