Hi all. Found this site and registered because I have a piece of WWII memorabilia that I was curious about (a copper ashtray marked "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN"). I like to collect military historical artifacts and have some combat gear and weaponry, a Hitler postcard (warmly greeting a group of school girls who look as if they're meeting a rock star), some autographs (Gen. Paul Tibbets on his picture looking out the pilots window of the Enola Gay in the Time/Life book "War with Japan"), an autographed copy of "Assault on the Liberty" by James Ennes. I will be posting the occupation produced ashtray info with photos in the "metals" section.

I also collect space program & rocket ship memorabilia including those of science fiction. I like fossils (even reproductions), examples of modernist furnishings, Rolling Stones merchandise and bootleg recordings, etc., etc.
