Hello kind people.  Anybody ever see this mark, and do you agree that this is a candy dish.  It is a heavy bisque with a high glaze and handpainted.  Any suggestions or answers would be Great!  Thank you all.

Definately a compote candy dish. But what is that screw in the center? You may be able to research that mark on the following website: http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/  Good luck!

Hi Jeffrie, Thanks for the tips.  Unfortunately, I didn't find my mark on those pages, but it sure is a great resource that I will use in the future.  The bolt and nut on the bottom, according to the guy on "Flea Market Mania" is something that was used in Germany or Bavaria around the 1920-30s. He had a somewhat similar piece without a lid that had the same kind of nut/and/bolt arrangement.  Thank you kindly for doing your best to help.  Mickie
