I bought this old lamp at a yard sale. I was told that the cherub is an antique. I'm not sure that it is, vintage mabey? I don't know my metals very well. Can anyone tell if it is copper or bronze or how do i figure the age. I cannot find any markings. it is a very heavy metal with seams. Thanks for your time.

I would need to physically exam the piece before I could give any information on it. Just from the photo I would say it is from the 1950s but this is sight unseen.
