Cannot identify potery piece

I havewhat appears to be a complet piece of pottery, a pitcher that is off white in color with red designs on it, depicting various plants as well as a butterfly. The inscription on the bottom is a diamond separated into five parts, with ALGERIE written over the top and and N.W.P C inscribed below. i have searched long and hard to discover the maker, and i am very curious at this point.
