I have what appears to be a bird waterer about the size of a large kitchen canister. It was made by what looks like WR. & Co in Akron, Ohio. Pat.D. Apr 7 1885. It is certainly very interesting looking. Has anyone ever heard of these?

They are popular collectibles and some can be worth quite a bit. Browse ebay or a book at the library to get a feel for prices.
