I am trying to put an age on a pattern. Warkwick china A2003, Old Abbey. I have a 8 piece serving set that is supposed to have belonged to my great grandmother. I was born in 1955. I know Warwick china was from 1881-1951, but I can't from anyway of dating pattern. Can anyone help? Thank you  gail  it also has INC. on back with warwick stamp.

Old Abbey was produced around 1949 by the Warwick Co. pattern # A2003.  If this is the same the design will be of pink roses, grey scrolls and gold daubs.  Retail value depends on which pieces, how many and what condition.
Chips, cracks, breaks, browning, utensil scratches, and design wear are all factors in determining condition.
We all like to think our pieces are primo. But we tend to look at them through rose colored glasses. Try taking your set to a reputable auction house or porcelain appraiser and ask for a written insurance appraisal.  Your set of eight could be worth as little as $300 or as much as $1800.
