I came across a nice china piece at a thrift store. on the bottom it says Kayser, Bavarian with a X and on each side of the X is J &C  (JxC), 2382R Japan. I can not find any information on this piece; sorry I don not have a picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

double check your information.  Your question has a defect. You state the mark says Kayser Bavaria and J&C & Japan.
J&C  China of Bavaria is a known Company but the inclusion of the word Japan is confusing. Did you make a mistake?
