hi,
i've had two of these chairs for about twenty years and they were old when i got them. i've had no luck trying to identify ANYTHING!

maker, country, period... i am clueless! does anyone have any ideas on these? i would be very grateful for your help. thanks!

The chairs appear to be Rosewood in the Chinese Chippendale style circa late 19th century.
